Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 2026 • Crocheterz.com

Welcome to Crocheterz (crocheterz.com), founded and maintained by Clara. Your privacy is truly important to us. This Privacy Policy outlines what information we collect, how we protect it, and how it is used when you explore our free patterns, tutorials, and community inspiration.

1. Information We Collect

We only collect personal information when you knowingly provide it to us, such as:

• Comments: When visitors leave comments on pattern posts, we collect the data shown in the comments form (name, email address), as well as the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to assist with spam prevention.
• Contact Messages: When you reach out via our contact form or email, we collect your name, email address, and message contents solely to answer your questions and provide support.
• Newsletter Subscriptions: If you opt in to receive updates, we store your email address securely to send you free pattern announcements. You can unsubscribe at any time with a single click.

2. Cookies & Web Analytics

Like most modern websites, Crocheterz uses cookies to improve your browsing experience. Cookies are small text files stored on your device that help us:

• Remember your preferences and save your details when leaving a comment so you do not have to fill them in again.
• Analyze site traffic, reader preferences, and popular patterns using anonymous analytics tools (such as Google Analytics) to help us create better crochet guides.

You can easily disable or customize cookies through your individual browser settings at any time.

3. Embedded Content & Social Links

Articles on this site may include embedded content (such as Pinterest pins, YouTube stitch tutorials, or social widgets). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same manner as if you visited the other website directly.

These external websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content.

4. Advertising & Affiliate Disclosure

Crocheterz is a reader-supported website. To keep all our crochet patterns completely free, we may partner with ethical advertising networks and affiliate programs (such as yarn suppliers, craft stores, or pattern platforms). When you click an affiliate link and make a purchase, we may receive a small commission at no additional cost to you.

5. Your Rights Over Your Data

If you have left comments or submitted forms on this site, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
